Elandon Roberts, linebacker for the Miami Dolphins, and several Buffalo Bills players engaged in a scuffle after the former pushed quarterback Josh Allen on the sideline. The two teams locked horns at a snowy Highmark Stadium on Saturday. 

The Buffalo Bills won 32-29 and clinched a playoff berth.

In the fourth quarter, when Allen and co were getting desperate to recover points and end Miami’s lead, the quarterback made a run. He was shoved at the sideline by Roberts.

Dion Dawkins, Bills’ lineman, immediately rushed towards Roberts and the two got into each others face. A number of other Buffalo players also joined in.

The Bills led for the entire game before the Dolphins turned the game in the third quarter. They hosts had to cover a 29-21 deficit in the final minutes. Josh Allen powered them to a touchdown and then 15-play, 86-yard drive that ate up the final 5:56.

With the win, Buffalo Bills qualified for post-season. The Miami Dolphins, on the other hand are now 8-6. They’ve now lost three in a row in their bid to qualify for the postseason for the first time since 2016.

Josh Allen finished 25 of 40 for 304 yards, and matched a career-best with four touchdowns passing. Nyheim Hynes, Quintin Morris and James Cook each had TD catches.

Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa finished 17 of 30 for 234 yards and two touchdowns, including a 67-yarder to Jaylen Waddle. Raheem Mostert finished with 136 yards rushing, while backup Salvon Ahmed ran for 43 yards, including an 11-yard TD.

Dolphins: Host the Green Bay Packers on Christmas Day.

Bills: Travel to play the Chicago Bears on Saturday.
