Royal Challengers Bangalore has won the 10th match of the Indian Premier League 2020 against defending champions Mumbai Indians in the super over.
Royal Challengers Bangalore batsmen performed exceptionally with half-centuries from Aaron Finch, Devdutt Padikkal and AB de Villiers. Although he failed to make an impact and was dismissed for three, Virat Kohli would be happy with the total of 201.
On the other hand, Ishan Kishan’s brilliant 99 and Kieron Pollard’s 60 got MI to 202. However they scored just seven runs in the Super Over which was too less for Jasprit Bumrah to defend.
While RCB had a winning start to the tournament, last match’s 97-run defeat against Kings XI Punjab saw RCB pacers leaking unrecoverable runs. Captain Virat Kohli will look to pick up his form after scoring 14 and 1 in the previous matches respectively.
Although MI got off to a poor start, losing the first match against Chennai Super Kings, the team will look confident thanks to a dominating win against Kolkata Knight Riders. MI’s star pacer Jasprit Bumrah who had a not so good evening against CSK bounced back in style, dismissing Eoin Morgan and Andre Russell in the same over at a crucial time.
