Richard Sherman will be joining FS1 against Skip Bayless on “Undisputed” in the wake of Shannon Sharpe leaving the show, the Post reported.

Every year, Sherman and Bayless will feature on 50 to 100 shows, typically during football season. He will continue to appear on the “Thursday Night Football” studio show on Amazon Prime Video.

Although the contract hasn’t been finalized yet, the NYP reports that a deal is already in place for the former Seattle Seahawks player to join the popular program.

There have been questions about FOX’s ability to find a replacement for Shannon Sharpe ever since he departed the show, but with Sherman, they have the right candidate, according to reports.

Additionally, Sherman has a podcast on Volume where he extensively covered the NFL’s final season. Fans loved the way he broke down the game. Along with Bayless, he also possesses the entertainment element, which will lead to enormous success.

In addition to Sherman, Lil Wayne will also be making frequent appearances on Undisputed as the program adopts a new direction following a lengthy successful run with Bayless and Sharpe.

Following Shannon Sharpe’s departure, a number of well-known individuals were mentioned in connection with the open position at Undisputed. LeSean McCoy, Emmanuel Acho, Nick Wright, Keyshawn Johnson, and others were said to be on the long list of contenders in addition to Sherman.

In the end, Skip Bayless and Fox chose Sherman because they believed that his historical hostility toward Bayless would draw a sizable audience, according to reports. They are inevitably going to get into heated arguments, and that is what sells in the markets.
