Russell Wilson,
the 33-year-old quarterback, has signed a $245 million deal with the Denver
Broncos
for a five-year-extension, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported. The deal
includes a guaranteed $165 million and keeps him under contract till 2028. With
this, Russell Wilson has become the second-highest paid quarterback in the
National Football League (NFL) after Aaron Rodgers.

The Denver Broncos
contract is the fourth deal Russell Wilson has signed in the NFL. The nine-time
Pro Bowler played on a $2.99 million deal on his rookie contract with Seattle Seahawks,
according to Bleacher Report.

After Wilson
signed the contract, his wife Ciara tweeted: “Baby @DangeRussWilson I am so proud of you! You’re the most
