Days after the news of
Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) camp being hit by coronavirus in the United Arab Emirates surfaced,
Mumbai Indians cricketer Rahul Chahar posted a get-well-soon message for his cousin
brother Deepak Chahar. Although, it is yet to be ascertained what illness Deepak
is suffering from, he represents the Chennai based-franchise in the Indian
Premier League (IPL).

Deepak, who last
played for India in December 2019, was part of the six-day training camp that
was held in Chennai, before the MS Dhoni-led team left for UAE for the 13th
edition of the IPL.

Earlier, it was
reported that two CSK players, one pacer and one batsman, among other members
of the CSK camp tested positive for COVID-19. This resulted in their quarantine
period being extended up to September 1.

It should be noted
that neither the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), nor the IPL or CSK
have disclosed the names of those infected.

The Dhoni-led team, on Saturday, lost its all-rounder Suresh Raina, who had to return back to India
due to personal reasons. He will not return to play the cash-rich tournament.

The IPL is scheduled
to start from September 19 and most likely, Mumbai Indians will be facing CSK
in the tournament opener.
