Despite being selected in the late rounds of the 2015 NFL, Diggs started for the Vikings as a full-time starter halfway through his rookie season. His career highlights include catching the “Minneapolis Miracle” pass during the 2017–18 NFL playoffs.

He and Adam Thielen became a potent receiving duo. Diggs signed a 5-year extension the following offseason, playing two more seasons in Minnesota before being dealt to Buffalo in 2020.
