Tennessee Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks suffered a significant injury during Thursday night football against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Burks took a tumble while attempting a catch on a crucial fourth-down play, falling on the back of his head and neck. He lay motionless for some time on the field. Medical personnel swiftly attended to 23-year-old and he was carted off the field.

As he was being taken away, Burks appeared to give a thumbs up. After the game, Titans coach Mike Vrabel said Burks was “moving” and “alert”.

He walked out of the locker room on his own, reported ESPN’s Turron Davenport.

Fans and colleagues prayed that Treylon Burks’ injury was not severe and for a quick recovery. This is Burks’ second injury this season. He missed a few weeks of play earlier due to a knee injury he suffered during joint practice with the Minnesota Vikings.

Burks was drafted by the Titans in 2022. He had suffered a toe injury last season.
