DeAndre Hopkins’ position with the Arizona Cardinals is questionable right now. The kind of deal Arizona receives from clubs in the days preceding the NFL Draft will determine whether they decide to trade the five-time Pro Bowl wide receiver, leaving Hopkins unsure of where he’ll really play in 2023.

Hopkins had largely avoided engaging in trade talk until now because of this. Hopkins has lately, however, subtly spoken his thoughts about a few potential trading destinations.

Without uttering a single word, Bryant McFadden succeeded in trying to get an inkling from Hopkins about the team he wants to play for in 2023 if it’s not the Cardinals.

Hopkins was instructed to use body language and facial gestures rather than saying yes or no to teams who could be interested in hiring him next season on the “All Things Covered” podcast. When Josh Allen’s Buffalo Bills and reigning defending world-champion Kansas City Chiefs were touted as possibilities, Hopkins livened up, clearly showing that he was interested.

Despite being connected to Foxborough in recent weeks, Hopkins’ subdued response gave Patriots supporters very little reason for optimism. Similarly, considering Hopkins’ expression, a connection with Aaron Rodgers in New York also seems unlikely.

Hopkins would undoubtedly be an excellent fit for the Buffalo Bills, who already have Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis, and Khalil Shakir as wide receivers. With Diggs and Hopkins, the Bills would own one of the league’s top wide receiver pairs.

On the other hand, Hopkins may be more useful to the Chiefs than the Bills, especially with a group of wide receivers that includes Marques Valdez-Scantling, Skyy Moore, Kadarius Toney, and Richie James.

Hopkins is undoubtedly the largest receiver on the market and, if he is sent to Buffalo or Kansas City as he suggested, could make a significant difference on a Super Bowl contender team.
