Who are Grupo Firme?

Grupo Firme was founded in Tijuana in 2014 by Eduin Cazares and Jairo Corrales. They released their debut album Pasado, Presente, Futuro, which included twelve songs, in 2017. It was not a huge success, but it got them noticed by the music industry. They followed that up with albums like El Barco and En Vivo desde Tijuana: Los Buitrones y Los Firmes.

They perform Banda music and are also linked to the Norteo genre. The Group Firme band plays brass and wind instruments and has socially relevant lyrics. The band is extremely popular, with over 13 million Spotify streams per month. To put it in context, that’s comparable to acts like Luke Bryan and Morgan Wallen in the United States.
