Bronny James, son of LeBron James, experienced a cardiac arrest while practising basketball.

Bronny James was sent to the hospital right away after having a cardiac episode during a USC exercise.

The 18-year-old is reportedly no longer in the intensive care unit and is in stable health.

A James family spokesperson told TMZ Sports “Yesterday while practicing Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest. Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital. He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU. We ask for respect and privacy for the James family and we will update media when there is more information.”

The spokesperson continues, “LeBron and Savannah wish to publicly send their deepest thanks and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes.”

The USC Galen Centre, where the team practises and plays, received a 911 call at 9:26 AM on Monday, according to TMZ, and the 18-year-old hooper was carried to the hospital by ambulance while unconscious.

According to sources, there was a Code 3 emergency, which denotes the seriousness of the situation by using ambulance lights and sirens.

Bronny is a rising talent in his sport — he recently committed to the Trojans and is expected to end up in the NBA.

LeBron has stated his ambition to play with his son in the League. Bronny earned a McDonald’s All-American during his high school senior season.
