Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin returned to Cincinnati, almost ten months after he passed out during a nationally televised game and was in danger of dying on Sunday night. Despite not playing in the match, he was spotted in the stadium, demonstrating his team spirit.

On January 2, 2023, during a Monday Night Football game in Cincinnati, Hamlin suffered a heart arrest after being tackled. Because the field medical professionals acted quickly, his resuscitation was carried out immediately. He was out of the game for almost a year.

Who is Damar Hamlin?

Damar Hamlin currently plays as a safety for the Buffalo Bills. The Bills selected him in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft while he was a University of Pittsburgh football player. After Micah Hyde had a season-ending injury in his debut year, Hamlin moved from a backup to a starting position in 2022.

After that, he was taken to a local hospital, where he spent several days in critical condition. Hamlin made a fast recovery and was released from the hospital on January 11, 2023.
