Just 10 days until he could perform in the Super Bowl, Josh Sills, an offensive lineman for the Philadelphia Eagles, was charged with sexual assault and abduction.

According to information provided by Ohio prosecutors on Wednesday morning, the accusations are connected to an event in Guernsey County on December 5, 2019. Sills is suspected of holding a woman against her will while engaging in non-consensual sexual behavior.

Who is Josh Sills?

Joshua Matthew Sills is an offensive guard for the National Football League’s Philadelphia Eagles, He was born on January 26, 1998, and is currently 25 years old. He participated in collegiate football at Oklahoma State and West Virginia.

Following a criminal investigation by the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office, a grand jury last week indicted Sills on one felony charge of rape and another count of kidnapping.

Josh Sills played four special teams snaps for Philadelphia against the Cardinals on October 9 in one regular-season game. It was a 20-17 victory for the Eagles.
