Seattle Seahawks running back Rashaad Penny suffered a fractured tibia in his left ankle in the third quarter of the Seahawks vs New Orleans Saints game in Week 5. The match was played in the Mercedez Benz Superdome in New Orleans, which the home team Saints won 39-32.

Who is Rashad Penny?
Rashaad Penny is an American football player who plays the running back position for the Seattle Seahawks in the National Football League. He was drafted in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
Penny was born on February 2, 1996 Norwalk city in California and attended the city’s high school.
He committed to play college football at San Diego State University despite offers from Colorado State and Utah State.

College Career:
He remained at SDSU from 2014 to 2017. During his junior season, he rushed for 1,018 yards on 136 carries for an average of 7.5 yards per carry. During the 2017 regular season, he was ranked first in all of Division I FBS players with 2,027 rushing yards.
NFL Career:
Penny signed a four-year deal worth $10.7 million featuring a $5.9 million signing bonus after being drafted by the Seattle Seahawks as the 27th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
He had seven carries for eight yards to go along with four receptions for 35 yards in his NFL debut against the Denver Broncos, which the team lost.
In Week 14 of the 2019 season, Penny suffered a torn ACL and was ruled out for the rest of the year. Prior to getting injured, he appeared in ten games and recorded 370 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns to go along with eight receptions for 83 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown.
The running back was re-signed by the Seahawks on a one-year deal worth $5.7 million on March 20, 2022.
