Week 5 of the 2022 NFL season began with the Indianapolis Colts beating the Denver Broncos 12-9 on Thursday Night Football. It was followed by the final NFL game in London, as the New York Giants registered a 27-22 win over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.

Tight ends were overly successful in Week 5 of the 2022 NFL season which was seen in several games. The likes of Taysom Hill and Adam Trautman looked in the form of their lives as they helped their respective teams to clinch the victory. Here are the top tight ends from Week 5.

Taysom Hill

One of the most versatile players in the NFL currently, Hill was instrumental in the New Orleans Saints 39-32 win over the Seattle Seahawks. He registered 9 carries for 112 yards, 3 rushing touchdowns, 1 passing touchdown and 22 passing yards against the Seahawks. He also recorded 1 fumble recovery in the game.

Travis Kelce

The Kansas City Chiefs faced the  Las Vegas Raiders in Monday Night Football in Week 5 of the 2022 NFL season. The Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce was one of the standout performers of the game as he registered 7 receptions out of 8 targets for 25 yards, 4 touchdowns and 4 first downs in the first three quarters.

Mark Andrews

The Baltimore Ravens beat the Cincinnati Bengals 19-17 in Week 5 of the 2022 NFL season. Andrews was one of the best performers in the game as the Ravens 27-year-old tight end registered 8 receptions out of 10 targets for 89 yards, 1 touchdown and 5 first downs.

Hayden Hurst

The Cincinnati Bengals were defeated 17-19 against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 5. While they could not clinch the victory, Hurst was one of the positives from the game for the Bengals as he registered 6 receptions out of 7 targets for 53 yards, 1 touchdown and 2 first downs.

Dallas Goedert

The Philadelphia Eagles faced the Arizona Cardinals in Week 5 of the 2022 NFL season. 27-year-old tight end Dallas Goedert was one of the best players on the field in the game as he registered 8 receptions out of 9 targets for 95 yards, 5 first downs and an average of 11.9 yards per reception in the game.

David Njoku

While the Cleveland Browns extended their losing run to two games on Sunday with a 28-30 defeat against the Los Angeles Chargers, David Njoku was one of the few positives for them. The 26-year-old tight end registered 6 receptions out of 6 targets for 88 yards and 5 receiving first downs in the game.

Adam Trautman

Another tight end for the New Orleans Saints, Adam Trautman was also exceptional in the 39-32 win over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. The 25-year-old registered 2 receptions out of 3 targets in 32 yards, 1 receiving touchdown, 1 first down and an average of 16 yards per reception.

Evan Engram

The Jacksonville Jaguars were beaten 6-13 by the Houston Texans on October 9 in Week 5 of the 2022 NFL season. While the Jaguars could not clinch the victory, Engram was arguably the only silver lining for his team as he finished the game with 6 receptions out of 10 targets for 69 yards, 2 first downs and an average of 11.5 yards per reception.

Daniel Bellinger

The New York Giants registered a 27-22 victory over the Green Bay Packers in the final game in London on October 9. Bellinger was one of the best players on the field in the victory as he recorded 2 receptions out of 3 targets for 22 yards, 1 first down, 1 carry for 2 yards and 1 rushing touchdown.
