Croatia and Japan locked horns in the round of 16 match of the FIFA World Cup 2022 on Monday at the Al Janoub stadium.

Japan have started their campaign on a tremendous note, having beaten favorites Germany and Spain in the group stages and are looking forward to their first quarter final appearance at the World Cup since 2002 where they lost to Brazil in the semis.

Marcelo Brozovic started for World no 12 and 2018 runners up Croatia in the match. He is a 30-year-old defensive mid-fielder and plays for Inter Milan. He is married to Silvija Lihtar

Who is Silvija Lihtar?

Silvija Lihtar is a Croatian national and the wife of professional  footballer Marcelo Borzovic. She was born on February 21, 1993 and is 29-years-old.  After dating for a few years, Lithar married Brozovic in 2016 and has two kids with him. While the first child Aurora was born a year later, their son Rafael was born in 2019.

Lihtar moved to Italy with Brozovic as he is a regular at the Serie A since 2015 after leaving Dinamo Zagreb of home country Croatia.
