Following a tragic shooting at their Oklahoma home on Monday, NASCAR champion Jimmie Johnson’s wife’s parents and an 11-year-old nephew perished. According to law authorities, the incident is being investigated as a murder-suicide.
According to Muskogee Police, after getting a 911 call from a woman who described a person with a pistol before hanging up the phone, Chandra Janway’s parents, Jack and Terry Janway, and nephew, Dalton Janway, were discovered dead just after 9 PM.
After arriving on the scene, police claim they discovered a body in the hallway and heard another gunshot coming from the house.
Two more dead bodies were discovered inside the house by the police. According to officials, all three of the victims were shot. Terry is regarded as a suspect by the police, although they are still looking into his possible motivation.
Johnson is now scheduled to take part in this weekend’s NASCAR street race in Chicago.

According to Muskogee police, Terry Janway, age 68, is suspected of shooting and killing her husband Jack Janway, age 69, and their grandson Dalton Janway, age 11. Chandra Janway, the daughter of Terry and Jack, is married to Jimmie Johnson, a NASCAR driver, according to Fox News.
According to police, Terry contacted 911 at around 9 p.m. and reported a disturbance and a person brandishing a pistol. A person was lying in the hallway just inside the front door when the police arrived on the scene.
When they heard gunshots coming from within the house, according to the police, they brought the individual in the hallway outside.
