Swara Bhasker, journalist Mohammed Zubair delete tweets on Ghaziabad attack, slammed by users

Hours after UP Police ruled out communal angle in the violent incident reported in Ghaziabad, where six men allegedly thrashed and chopped off the beard of an elderly man. Bollywood actor Swara Bhaskar, who is known for his eloquence on social and communal issues and Alt News journalist Mohammed Zubair deleted their tweets on the case.
While many Twitter users are slamming Swara and Zubair for spreading misinformation and promoting hatred in society, Zubair accepted that he deleted the tweet and clarified that the earlier story doesn't add up with newly presented facts.
Swara, on the other hand, is intact on her stand as she said that her problem is with the violence and assaulters forcing him to chant “Jai Shri Ram”.
Meanwhile, the Uttar Pradesh police has filed an FIR against some journalists and news outlets for spreading hate and misinformation. The complaint includes the following names: Rana Ayyub, Saba Naqvi, and Mohammed Zubair, online news platform The Wire, and Congress leaders Salman Nizami, Shama Mohamed, and Maskoor Usmani.
The video of the alleged incident, which took place on June 5 in Ghaziabad’s Loni, has surfaced on social media the other day, in which the elderly man can be seen being beaten by the accused and his beard was also chopped off by one of the assualters.
