TV
Czarine Ekta Kapoor, who has started a Mental Wellness fund named after her
popular TV show “Pavitra Rishta” starring late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, has
now discontinued her association with it.

“While I support the cause of mental health, I disassociate myself from
the ‘Pavitra Rishta fund’ till investigations are carried out and we have a
clear picture on Sushant’s unfortunate death. I withdraw myself from this fund
individually as of now, as it seems there’s more to this tragic incident. Like
the rest of the country, I would like the truth to come out,” her Instagram post reads.

“Even though this is not a fund started by me, but started by Zee and is a needed one at that, I am always with Zee for any other mental awareness fund that they want to do, but on this one I would like to respectfully dissociate myself. #SSR Hope the truth prevails,” she captioned the post.

The
idea behind the fund that has been started in association with Tarun Katial,
the CEO of Zee5 India, is to spread mental health awareness among people.
However, the  fans of Sushant Singh
Rajput took to social media to troll the producer for using the actor’s name
for her personal benefits.

The
Supreme Court of India, on Wednesday, handed over Sushant’s death case to
the Central Bureau of Investigation.

The verdict was  delivered  on a plea filed by actress Rhea Chakraborty, seeking to transfer the investigation of the Sushant’s death case from Patna to Mumbai. The FIR lodged against Rhea by Sushant’s father, KK Singh, accuses her of allegedly abetting the suicide of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

The
actor died at his Mumbai residence on June 14.
