Lisa Kudrow reveals that she is more similar to Jennifer Aniston%u2019s character in %u2018Friends%u2019 than her own. Kudrow played the role of Phoebe Buffay, a sweet-natured but odd guitar player.

The actress revealed details from the highly anticipated Friends reunion special set to premiere on May 27 on HBO Max.
When Kudrow took the BuzzFeed quiz to see which %u2018Friends%u2019 character she related to the most, shockingly she was not linked to her own character from the sitcom but Aniston%u2019s, she said in the Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

“I thought I was answering questions that would bring me to Phoebe, you know? Favourite colour? ‘Yellow!’ ” she said. “And it just said ‘Rachel.’ “

While auditioning for the show, the Emmy-winning actress said that she was actually more drawn to Rachel%u2019s character.
When she read about Rachel Green%u2019s character, she thought to herself, %u201COh, that’s like a Long Island JAP %u2014 that could be hilarious. I can identify with that more.’ But they said, ‘No, no. Phoebe,’ ‘” Kudrow explained.
The 57-year-old actress also spoke about the reunion with the cast namely Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer.

In an interview with PEOPLE%u2019s magazine ahead of the launch of the special episode, Kudrow had commented on the exceptional bond the cast shares. %u201CWhen we do get together, it’s like no time has passed. We pick up right where we left off%u201D she said.
The reunion episode has been in the talks for the last two years.
Since the announcement of the premier, the Friends Reunion episode has created a significant amount of buzz on social media.
