  • NHAI has removed the minimum threshold for the FASTag wallet
  • The sticker will remain valid for five years and can be topped-up as per requirement
  • Many Point of Sale (POS) locations have been set up at toll plazas to assist in creating FASTag accounts

  • All lanes in the fee plazas on National Highways shall be declared as 'FASTag lane of the fee plaza'
  • The rule will come into effect from the midnight of February 15/16
  • Reportedly, the Transport Ministry said it has taken up the move to further promote fee payment through digital mode
