The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced on Friday that the 95th edition of the Oscars will be held on March 12, 2023. ,This is the second year that the Oscars are taking place in March, with the previous year's edition - now made memorable with Will Smith slapping comedian Chris Rock on live television - being held on March 27. ,It will air on ABC in over 200 countries around the world and will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. ,The deadline for submissions to be considered for the upcoming Oscars is November 15.
