Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid couldn’t resist taking a playful credit for the rumored romance between Taylor Swift and Chiefs player Travis Kelce. Following Swift’s appearance at the Arrowhead Stadium on September 24th during the Chiefs’ game against the Chicago Bears, Reid commented during a post-game press conference, “You know what, I’ve met her before. I set them up.”

Swift was not only present for the game but watched it from the Kelce family stadium suite alongside Travis’s mother, Donna. She cheered passionately as Kelce scored a crucial touchdown in the third quarter, displaying her support for the team.

Travis Kelce, seizing the opportunity to spend time with Swift, chose to forgo the press conference with Reid. Sports anchor Jarred Payton later captured them leaving the stadium together, both smiling.

According to Kelce’s teammate Patrick Mahomes, his successful pass to Kelce was influenced by Swift’s presence. In a light-hearted comment to commentator Erin Andrews, Mahomes said, “I heard she was in the house … I felt a little bit of pressure. I knew I had to get [the ball] to Travis.”

After the game, there were reports of Kelce and Swift celebrating together at a local restaurant. While initial claims suggested that the venue was cleared out for them, it was later revealed that Kelce had actually arranged the gathering for Swift, along with family members and teammates.
