An overnight shooting incident has left four injured in Milwaukee, authorities have confirmed. The victims were transported to a nearby hospital, one of whom remains critical.

According to Milwaukee police, the shooting incident took place at around 1:41 am on Wednesday in the 1300 block of East Hamilton Street. All of the victims have been identified as Milwaukee residents, three of whom are male and one female. All of the men are below 30, while the woman is 36-year-old.

One of the three male victims, 28, was inflicted with life-threatening injuries and remains in critical condition. The other victims who suffered injuries are stable and are expected to survive.

The police are currently investigating the shooting and the circumstances around it. They are also looking for an unknown suspect in connection with the shooting. The police department has not released any other information about the victims or the unknown suspect.

Gun violence is rising in the United States and Milwaukee is no different. The shooting incident took place only a block north of Brady Street in Milwaukee. This is the second time a similar incident has taken place in the area since July.

A 30-year-old man was shot in the 1300 block of Brady Street in July. The incident took place near the Hi Hat Lounge and Dorsia restaurant. The reason behind the shooting was not clear.

Earlier in September, an unknown driver hit and killed a 32-year-old person in the 1200 block of East Brady Street. The victim was later identified as Arne J. Bast, who is also a resident of Milwaukee. The incident took place near the intersection of Brady Street and North Franklin Place.
