A dead body has been found inside the freezer of Arby’s restaurant, New Iberia in Louisiana. The restaurant is located around 70 miles southwest of Baton Rouge, in New Iberia, Louisiana. The staff found the corpse sometime around 6 pm on Thursday, said Sergeant Daesha Hughes with the New Iberia Police Department.
“The New Iberia Police Department responded to the business of Arby’s located on East Admiral Doyle Drive at approximately 6.20 pm in reference to a body found inside of a freezer,” Hughes said, reported The US Sun.
“The death is suspicious and being investigated,” he added.
However, no information about the victim was immediately available.
There was a heavy police presence at the restaurant as they worked to find out what led up to the horrifying discovery.
Several police cars could be seen with flashing lights.
The entrances to the restaurant were blocked with crime scene tape as an investigator in white coveralls stood outside.
“No for real Arby’s, people need to know what is going on,” a user wrote on Twitter.
This is a developing story.
