A dead body has been found inside the freezer of Arby’s restaurant, New Iberia in Louisiana. The restaurant is located around 70 miles southwest of Baton Rouge, in New Iberia, Louisiana. The staff found the corpse sometime around 6 pm on Thursday, said Sergeant Daesha Hughes with the New Iberia Police Department.

“The New Iberia Police Department responded to the business of Arby’s located on East Admiral Doyle Drive at approximately 6.20 pm in reference to a body found inside of a freezer,” Hughes said, reported The US Sun.

“The death is suspicious and being investigated,” he added.

However, no information about the victim was immediately available.

There was a heavy police presence at the restaurant as they worked to find out what led up to the horrifying discovery.

Several police cars could be seen with flashing lights.

The entrances to the restaurant were blocked with crime scene tape as an investigator in white coveralls stood outside.

“No for real Arby’s, people need to know what is going on,” a user wrote on Twitter.

In another crime last Sunday, a 58-year-old person was charged with shooting a 14-year-old girl who was playing hide-and-seek outside his home. The teenager was admitted to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after she was shot in the back of the back in rural Louisiana.

David Doyle is charged with aggravated assault and battery. He told investigators that he opened fire after seeing shadows outside his home.

In the early hours of last Sunday, police responded to calls about the shooting of the girl in the town of Starks, 250 miles (400 Km) west of New Orleans.

According to officers, several children were playing hide and seek in the area and were hiding on the neighbor’s property.

As per a press release from Officers at the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office, Doyle said he observed shadows outside his home, at which time he went inside and retrieved his firearm.
