Former Fox News host Geraldo Rivera appeared on The View on Thursday, in what was his first interview post-quitting the network, where he revealed that he had a “toxic relationship” with a co-host on his previous show, The Five before he decided to depart.

Rivera’s departure on June 29, came after working for the network for 23 years. He told the hosts of The Videw that prior to his departure he had a “toxic relationship with one of the cast members.” He refrained from naming that cast member with whom his feud happened. Rivera was reportedly seen frequently sparring with Jesse Watters and Greg Gutfeld during the panel show. The former Fox News host delved into his claims of “toxic relationship,” on The View saying that it was the beginning of his end at the network. He said that he thought “that it was very unfair that I was not judged objectively in our disputes, but rather he was always favored and I was the one, I was suspended, you know, three times.”

He also said that his appearance on The Five was canceled last minute. “You know right before I was supposed to go on, so I was really ticked off,” he said. It’s not Jeanine, I love Jeanine, I discovered Jeanine,” referring to Fox personality Judge Jeanine Piro.

When he was further probed on revealing the name of the cast member with whom he claimed to have a toxic relationship, Rivera avoided the question by saying, “I may get there.”
