President Biden drew a smattering of laughs at the White House on Thursday after he awkwardly joked about how old he was when he first met a then-underage Eva Longoria.
On Thursday night, the 48-year-old Hollywood star joined the 80-year-old president on the South Lawn for a screening of Longoria’s debut feature film, “Flamin’ Hot.”
‘She was 17, I was 40,’ the 80-year-old commander-in-chief said about the 48-year-old actress.
Critics of Biden took shots at the president, while also pointing out that Biden would’ve been 50 when Longoria was 17, and she would have been 7 when the president was 40.
The joke drew laughter from the crowd that had joined Eva and the President at the screening of her new film, but creeped out a few folks watching on.

As well as describing the joke as ‘creepy’ and ‘inappropriate, others commenting on the incident felt the joke was unsuitable and ‘strange’.
People on Twitter also criticized the President for allegedly groping the director. One Twitter user said, “GROSS! Eva Longoria had to move Biden’s hands to keep him from groping her at the White House tonight. I hope these people are happy with the creep they support.”
Another Twitter user wrote, “NOT TONIGHT, JOE! Biden Goes for the Grope But Eva Longoria’s Not Havin’ It. It’s Thursday another day that ends in “day.” You know what that means more likely than not, Joe Biden is going grope a woman or young child, boy or girl. Tonight actress Eva Longoria was Joe’s victim.”
Meanwhile another person said, “Joe Biden living up to his predatory history yesterday by groping Eva Longoria at the White House. Share it for everyone to see in slow motion because the leftist media won’t touch it. If this was Trump, it would be all over and the White House be giving a speech.”
