Videos of Duke Dennis and Agent 00 getting ‘arrested’ on Friday, August 4 at Kai Cenat‘s PlayStation 5 giveaway in New York have surfaced.

Cenat announced during a Twitch live on Wednesday that he would be throwing a “huge giveaway” on Friday at 4 p.m. in Union Square Park. Cenat has more than 4 million subscribers to his channel on YouTube, more than 5 million to his Instagram account, and 6.5 million on Twitch.

He said that they would be handing out computers, Play Station 5s, microphones, keyboards, cameras, gaming seats, headphones, and gift cards from a truck in Union Square during the webcast. He remarked, “I feel New York really deserves it.”

Videos that have gone viral show the New York Police Department escorting a constrained Dennis away as the people around him yell and cry. The viral footage also shows Agent 00 being removed from the scene by police on the street. It’s unclear, though, if they were really caught and taken into custody. Furthermore, it’s unclear if the two will be charged. Both of them produce gaming videos and are a part of the YouTube group AMP.

An increasing, densely packed crowd was seen Friday in aerial TV news footage hanging from park structures, throwing chairs, punches, and climbing on cars. Teenagers shouted, hurled objects at approaching vehicles, and ran through the streets.

The mob blocked traffic on many streets, and a huge number of police officers struggled to contain the chaos. Some people attempted to climb onto a moving vehicle, but as it drove away, they fell off. Teenagers cursed and flung paint cans, swung things at car windows, and activated fire extinguishers. A city bus’s side was repeatedly hammered by others. People were also seen jumping up and down while on top of another bus.

Kai Cenat was also detained, according to New York police. As per Jeffrey Maddrey, the NYPD commissioner, police were considering filing criminal charges for potential riot instigation. Maddrey added that the meeting was deemed an unlawful assembly since the Twitch streamer failed to notify the police about it or secure permission.
