Tech giant Google will allow its employees to work from home until September next year, extending the previous deadline for return to the office, according to a recent report by the New York Times.

The company is also debating the idea of introducing a “flexible workweek”, Chief Executive Officer Sundar Pichai reportedly told the company’s staff in an email on Sunday.

As part of the plan, Google’s employees would be expected to work three days a week in the office, while working from home on the remaining days.
