At least one person was injured in a shooting at a Walmart in Harrisburg, the state capital of Pennsylvania, on Sunday afternoon.
Police responded to the scene around 6pm after receiving reports of a shooting inside the store located at 6535 Grayson Road in Swatara Township. They helped those inside the Walmart to leave the area safely.

The responding officers then found a person with a gunshot wound. Investigation revealed it was an isolated incident between two individuals.
“The Swatara Township Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that occurred at the Walmart located at 6535 Grayson Road at approximately 5:17 p.m. We have learned that this was an isolated incident between two individuals. The store is still closed to the public while we process the scene for evidence. The victim sustained a minor injury and is cooperating with the investigation,” Swatara Township Police Department said in a statement.

The suspect who had fled from the scene was traced and taken into custody. The circumstances that led to the incident were being investigated.
“Swatara Township Police identified, located, and apprehended the suspect with the assistance of the Harrisburg Bureau of Police. The suspect was taken into custody without incident,” police said in another statement.

The store will be closed until 6 am on Monday.
“The investigation continues. Walmart is currently safe, but will remain closed to the public until 6:00 a.m. on August 22nd. More information will be released when it becomes available,” Swatara Township Police Department said.
