Journalist James O’Keefe faced outrage for confronting transgender Dylan Mulvaney at the Four Seasons hotel in Beverly Hills this week. O’Keefe was asking for a reaction from the influencer to a report released this week regarding male inmates who are allegedly playing the prison system so they can be put up in a facility for women.

This comes as Mulvaney has been caught in a controversy over the last couple of weeks due to a marketing collaboration with Bud Light. The beer manufacturer sparked a backlash over the marketing partnership. The company lost billions of dollars in market value and faced boycotts from prominent conservatives.

“Dylan Mulvaney is inside the women’s restroom right now. So, I’m going to ask him for comment about our story regarding women being raped in prison by men claiming to be transgender,” O’Keefe said.
The video then shows O’Keefe confronting a visibly uncomfortable Mulvaney in the lobby of a hotel.

“Women are being raped in a prison in Washington state by men claiming to be transgender. There’s footage of them talking about the rape. Do you have a comment on the story of the women being raped by the men claiming to be transgender?” O’Keefe asked.
Mulvaney quickly ran towards the elevator to avoid O’Keefe. The influencer snapped back at O’Keefe, telling him to get back out of the elevator.
Several internet users did not approve of the way O’Keefe confronted Mulvaney.

James O'Keefe has been a fake from the beginning. And I'm a conservative saying that. Everything he does feels cringe and this deal here is nothing but harassment. They let him go for a reason and it wasn't because he was some great light in the darkness.

“I like James O’Keefe a lot and I very much dislike Dylan Mulvaney, BUT this feels like harassment. This issue has nothing to do with Dylan, he isn’t responsible for what other trans people do just like James O’Keefe isn’t responsible for what all men do,” another user wrote on Twitter.
Recently, O’Keefe was fired from Project Veritas, a group he founded in 2011 known for releasing secret videos and exposing powerful organizations. He was removed on charges of financial mismanagement and “absolutely brutal” treatment of staff. Later, he launched O’Keefe Media Group (OMG) and his loyal supporters vowed to leave his previous organization as a result of his termination.
