A shooting incident was reported in the western valley of Las Vegas on Thursday afternoon, according to Metro Police. The incident claimed the life of one individual and left two people injured.

The shooting happened at around 2:45 p.m. in the western part of Las Vegas, close to the intersection of Flamingo Road and Jones Boulevard. Currently, law enforcement officers are responding to a scenario involving multiple shooting victims at the 3900 block of South Jones Boulevard in the western portion of the valley.

As per media reports, the suspect involved in the shooting has been taken into custody by police officials. The police officials have not yet revealed the details of the victim and people who were injured in the shooting.

Meanwhile, another shooting incident was reported in Pittsburgh’s Beechview neighborhood on Thursday. The incident left one individual injured. The person was rushed to the hospital after being fatally shot in the incident. 

Police officials were sent to the 1500 block of Beechview Avenue in Allegheny County in response to a report of an incident at around 4:02 p.m. Sources claim that one person was taken from this place to the hospital.

The area around Beechview and Broadway avenues was where a man in his early 20s was shot, according to a statement from Pittsburgh Public Safety. It was stated that his condition was “extremely grave.” As per reports, the alleged offender stayed at the site and freely gave himself up to the police.

Pittsburgh Regional Transit disclosed that the Red Line’s light-rail T vehicles had been impacted, resulting in delays, during the inquiry. However, the issue has been resolved, and rail service is now operating as usual.
