Fearing their lives, Mc Donald’s employees in Henry County, Georgia tried to hide inside a fridge, after a customer got aggressive because the food joint ran out of coffee.

The scene of the heated dispute took place at 9 pm on Tuesday, at the Locust Grove outlet of the fast-food joint. The aggravation took place when a couple was told that their order for coffee could not be placed due to the unavailability of the item.

An employee at the food outlet said, “I was scared, because like, you never know how crazy people are like. He could have had a gun and shoot us all.”

A cell phone footage captured the couple banging on the drive-thru window after which they entered the restaurant and picked up the chairs.

The situation escalated further after one of the employees threw a drink onto the couple’s car for “self defense.”

“We did it for self-defense, because we didn’t know what to do,” the employee said.

The employees informed that they tried to contact the local police about four times, but the couple had left before the police arrived.

The Locust Grove Police Chief claimed that the administration is currently examining the surveillance footage before they decide on whether an arrest warrant needs to be issued.

The family of one of the employees is seeking to file a criminal charge against the couple. The sister of the employee said, “Why I feel like they should be arrested is because these are minors, we think of them as our kids. It’s horrible that you can treat a teenager and their peers like that.”
