Former US vice president Mike Pence gave testimony on Thursday in the federal investigation looking into the part played by his former employer Donald Trump in the assault on the Capitol in 2021. Pence took these actions the day after a federal appeals court denied Trump’s request to have that testimony suppressed on the basis of executive privilege.

Who is Mike Pence’s family?

Mike Pence’s Wife: 

Mike Pence first met Karen, his wife, while they were both attending Indiana University’s law school. They tied the knot in 1985. Karen is an American schoolteacher and painter. She was raised in Indianapolis’ Broad Ripple Village, where she attended Bishop Chatard High School and graduated as valedictorian. She pursued a teaching degree and an art minor at Butler University. Karen graduated from there with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and a Master of Science (M.S.) in elementary education.

After having her first kid, Karen enrolled in a watercolor painting course. This resulted in a profession as a portrait painter of homes and old structures. She created as many as 35 paintings every year, some for commission and others for sale at neighborhood art shows.

Mike Pence’s children:

Mike and Karen Pence have three children: Michael, Charlotte, and Audrey Pence. Out of the three, Charlotte is the most well-known. This is due to her success as a popular American writer.

Charlotte received her degree from DePaul University. She contributed to publications like The DePaulia, Thought Catalogue, Glamour, The Isis Magazine, and Seven Voices, an Oxford University anthology of poetry. She also wrote fiction for these publications.

Charlotte worked as an intern in the film industry when she was a student. In 2014, she was awarded an Emmy for the Lower Great Lakes region for a movie she co-wrote and served as an associate producer. Marlon Bundo’s A Day in the Life of the Vice President, a children’s book she wrote, was released in 2018. She is now an editor for the conservative news website The Daily Wire as of 2022.
