American entrepreneur Jeff Bezos’ aerospace company Blue Origin successfully completed its NS-20 mission by launching its fourth crewed spaceflight on Thursday. With six passengers on board, the 10-minute celestial ride took off at 9:58 am EDT.

Passengers onboard included businessman Marty Allen, philanthropic duo Sharon Hagle and Marc Hagle, architect Gary Lai, former NASA manager George Neild and entrepreneur Jim Kitchen.

A video released by Blue Origin features the cabin crew floating in weightlessness, amazed by the view. Sharing a hug and kiss during the mission, the Hagles expressed their exhilaration.

“Oh, my gosh, it was amazing,” said Sharon Hagle.

“I can’t wait to get home and share it with all the kids,” she added.

“When the engine ignited, my energy level just exploded,” her husband said.

“And then when you get to outer space and you start seeing the blue marble, as everybody describes it, in the black of space, there’s no way of describing it. Our grandkids have asked us about it … and it’s just hard to describe,” Marc Hagle added.

The New Shepard capsule comprises the largest windows of any spacecraft in the world, offering the crew a breathtaking view of planet Earth below.

“Let me tell you, that was an out-of-body experience,” Jim Kitchen said after landing.

“You’re going 2,300 miles an hour, and you feel every bit of that. And then (you get to the top) and time stops. You see this beautiful Earth and the blackness of the Universe, and it’s the blackest black I have ever seen, it is just breathtaking. And wow, that was a moment. That was a moment,” he added.

The mission marks the aerospace company’s 20th New Shepard flight and its fourth with passengers on board.

Its first passenger flight took off on July 20, 2021, carrying Jeff Bezos, his brother, and two others.
