As America’s independence day celebrations on July 4 are around the corner, the citizens attempt to make their celebration as fun as they can in the times of the COVID-19 pandemic. The best way to do is a good long shopping session and what better time to do that but when July 4 sales are ongoing.

While many brands prefer to close their operation on the day to give their employees a chance to celebrate the occasion too, there are some more than generous stores that will make your July 4 shopping easier and better.

Here’s a guide to the stores that are operating on the day for all the shoppers planning to go on a spree and avail July 4 discounts.

Costco Wholesale is closed

While most retailers are open on Sunday with one super-sized exception that is Costco Wholesale clubs. But this shouldn’t come as a surprise and Costco clubs are generally closed on big holidays like New Year, Easter, Christmas, etc.

Hobby Lobby is closed

It’s time to change plans if your shopping list includes stuff from arts and craft chain Hobby Lobby.

Grocery Stores

Most of the grocery stores in the country, including many Aldi locations will remain operational for the special holiday hours. : Albertsons, Trader Joe’s, Kroger, Aldi, CVS are operational.

Restaurants

Starbucks, McDonald%u2019s, Chipotle will all be operational on July 4. In fact, Panera will be giving away free bagels to mark the Independence Day celebrations.
