The Puppy Bowl, presented by Animal Planet, is one of many exciting events that will take place in the days leading up to Sunday’s Super Bowl LVII. This canine replica of the real thing will include abandoned puppies looking for new homes.

The purpose of Puppy Bowl is to spread the message that a pet is a companion for life and to increase public awareness of the work done by Planet Animal in order to recruit volunteers to assist in the shelters, walk the dogs on a daily basis, or even foster puppies.

Due to the fact that the Puppy Bowl is always taped in the fall, almost all of the puppies have already found forever homes by the time it airs in February.

Here’s a list of 11 puppies and 2 kittens you can adopt during Puppy Bowl XIX-

1. Quokka

Quokka is a male kitten, who’s 8.5 weeks old. He’s a Domestic longhair. He’s sheltered at Cleveland Animal Protective League (Ohio).

His bio states- “Quokka is a sweet and silly guy! He loves to be around people and will often climb up your back to sit on your shoulders.”

2.  Moo

Moo is a female kitten. She’s 8 weeks old and is a Domestic longhair. She’s sheltered at Madison Cat Project (Wisconsin).

Her bio states – “Get ready to fall in love with Moo! This sweet and loyal little girl’s main hobbies include climbing up on your shoulder and staying there… forever. She’s significantly smaller than her siblings, Cheese Curd and Ope, so she plays cautiously with them but does enjoy toys on her own.”

3. Yukon 

Yukon is a male puppy who’s 8 weeks old. He’s a Chihuahua Mix. He’s sheltered at Sacramento SPCA (California).

His bio states – “He is outgoing, playful, and brave. He is the first to investigate new things and loves to meet people. He is playful, silly, and can always make us laugh! ”

4. Wampa

Wampa is a male puppy who’s 14 weeks old. He’s an American Pit Bull mix. He’s sheltered at Secondhand Hounds (Minnesota).

His bio states – “Curious but cautious to new things, playful and adventurous with familiar things (including other dogs in the house), super snuggly! Does well with kids, other dogs, and cats.”

5. Twizzle

Twizzle is a female Labrador Retriever who’s 14 weeks old. She’s sheltered at Animal Rescue New Orleans (Louisiana).

Her bio states –  “Smart, cuddly, playful, and sweet. Twizzle would be great in any home willing to love and care for her through her puppy adolescence. She is a real lover, curious and smart, she likes to carry things around in her mouth and explore.”

6. Red

Red is a male Shephard Mix. He’s 17 weeks old. He’s sheltered at Nevada SPCA.

Her bio states – “Sweet, very affectionate, loving, playful, and curious. Red would make a wonderful family member, as he interacts well with children and other animals.”

7. Moya

Moya is a male Terrier mix. He’s 9 weeks old. He’s sheltered at Paw Works California.

His bio states – “This busy body will keep you on your toes! He is always on the go, but does stop for a good nap in the sun or on a comfy bed. He loves attention and would love to be with as many people who can love on him as possible. Moya is a smart boy who would be able to adapt into most homes. He would love a home with other fur babies and kids!”

8. Jason

Jason is a male  Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever. He’s 8 weeks old. He’s sheltered at Puplandia Dog Rescue (Oregon).

His bio states – “This sweet boy is going to be BIG. (Current prediction is 115 lbs.) He will need a safe, secure place to romp and roam, a fenced backyard will be required. We have started kennel training and potty training, but Jason’s perfect family will need to plan on continuing this training. Jason has been around dogs, kids, cats, chickens, and goats.”

9. Fortune

Fortune is a male mixed puppy who is 9 weeks old. He is sheltered at Animal Friends (Pennsylvania).

His bio states – “Sweet, silly, playful, cuddly, rambunctious. May be able to live with other pets and/or young children. Looking for a family who will be patient and committed to positive reinforcement training and willing to work through typical puppy behaviors (housebreaking, jumpy/mouthiness, etc.)”

10. CeeDee

CeeDee is a female Siberian Husky. She is 12 weeks old. He is sheltered at Dallas Dog (Texas).

Her bio states – “CeeDee and her seven siblings were born after Thanksgiving in a shelter in South Texas. She loves to play and will find ways to entertain herself.”

11. Captain 

Captain is male Chihuahua/Dachshund who is 12 weeks old. He is sheltered at Save an Angel (Texas).

His bio states- ” “Sweet, mellow yet spunky, playful, and curious. Captain loves to play with his fur-sister but is all kisses and cuddles when his foster mom scoops him up. He sleeps through the night and is a fast learner.”

12. Buzz

Buzz is a male Anatolian Shepherd Mix who is 16 weeks old. He is sheltered at Paws4ever (North Carolina).

His bio states –  “Buzz is a snuggly lap puppy who loves to make new friends. He is smart and curious, always eager to explore the world and learn new things.”

13. Arwen

Arwen is a female Chocolate Labrador who is 17 weeks old. She is sheltered at Humane Society of Missouri (Missouri).

Her bio states – “Playful, curious, loves stuffed toys, affectionate. Currently in foster home with another dog and loves him, would love a permanent fur sibling, would love a family with kids to play with.”
