Since its release, ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ has made headlines for breaking several box office records. In a recent interview with BackstageOL, lead actor of the film Tom Holland was stunned after being told that the film is merely $20 million away from breaking the box office record of one of Hollywood’s highest grossing films, ‘Avatar’.
A snippet of the interview has gone viral on the internet. In a short video uploaded on Twitter, Holland is seen startled after host Dave Morales informs him about the record. Morales states, “You are very close to having the biggest movie of all time.” Completely unaware of the fact, Holland then replies, “I feel it’s very big. It is not very far from the biggest movie of all time. Right? Right? No?”
Morales then goes on to add, “You are $20 million away from the best film in the United States and then you will take Avatar.”

Holland then asks “for real?” with his mouth and eyes wide open.
Uploaded just a day ago, the video has racked up over 1.5 million views and more than 19,000 retweets.
One Twitter user wrote, “The look on his face is priceless.” While several users laughed at Holland’s reaction, others questioned the claim’s veracity.

One user added, “I know he’s f*cking lying to Tom. Really got him shocked and flabbergasted for no reason.”
Despite the conflicting views, ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ has managed to become one of the most popular films, all thanks to its gripping plot and the iconic crossover of former actors who played Peter Parker.
According to Reuters, the Jon Watts-directed film is only $25 million away from breaking the record of the 2009 sci-fi film, ‘Avatar’ ($760 million).
The film has become one of the few movies to break the $1 billion mark, despite its unavailability in the world’s largest movie market, China.
Amassing approximately $1.74 billion globally, ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ now ranks as the sixth-highest earning film of all time worldwide.
