Police responded to a shooting outside the Strummer’s bar in the Tower District of Frencso, California on Sunday. The man who fired shots has been taken into custody.

No injuries have been reported. Officers were called to the bar at around 1 am on Sunday after shots were fired. Investigators say the man was upset after security guards didn’t allow him into the business.

As soon as he reached for his revolver, attached to his ankle, the security guards tackled him. However, he was able to fire several shots into the air.
Meanwhile, One person has been seriously injured in a shooting incident in Pittsburg and Lyons, north of Spokane County, Washington, the sheriffs PIO Mark Gregory said. The shooting involved a deputy sheriff.

KHQ Local news, quoting SCSO undersheriff John Nowels, has been put on administrative leave. It is standard procedure to put deputies on leave during investigations.

“One deputy parked his vehicle in front of the suspect’s pickup truck. The suspect then jumped out of the bed of a pickup truck, into the driver’s seat, and began to reverse,” Nowels said, as per KHQ Local news.
