Tamara Keith’s outfit at the White House Correspondents’ dinner 2023 was compared to Holly Hunter in Broadcast News on social media. The White House Correspondents Association President Tamara Keith hosted President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris amongst other Washington DC bigshots on Saturday.
Many social media users noted that Keith’s outfit reminded them of Holly Hunter in Broadcast News. The American romantic comedy came out in 1987. It was produced and directed by James L. Brooks.
Actor Holly Hunter’s outfit from the film went viral amongst fans. The 65-year-old is an Academy Award winner for playing Ada McGrath in the 1993 drama film The Piano. She also won nominations for Broadcast News, The Firm, and Thirteen.
Keith wore a similar dress to her’s in Broadcast News.

“I love Tamara Keith‘s nod to Holly Hunter’s character’s dress in a movie that I admittedly slept on, Broadcast News. Glad that the WHCD got its groove back,” a third one tweeted.
“It’s post-Covid. People last year were pretty nervous about going into a ballroom with 2,600 people in it, and this year, they are climbing over each other to get there,” Keith told The Hill ahead of the dinner.
The event was hosted by The Daily Show correspondent Roy Wood Jr. President Joe Biden also spoke at the White House Correspondent Dinner.
