US President Joe Biden, in addition to crucial members of his administration, will be out all across the US advocating the recent legislature-turned-law which aims to ease the financial burden off Americans who have been severely impacted by the pandemic, according to White House spokesperson Jen Psaki, who called the initiative “Help is Here Tour”, according to US media reports.  

The first and second family members of the US, who are known to hold great influence, will also be involved in the tours with Jill Biden, the First Lady of the US, covering Burlington in New Jersey while Doug Emhoff, the Second Gentleman of the US, will be travelling to Las Vegas in Nevada with US Vice President Kamala Harris, reported CNN.

In the following week, US President Joe Biden will be travelling to Delaware County, Pennsylvania before moving on to Atlanta, Georgia where he will be accompanied by Harris. 

Emhoff on Wednesday will be travelling down south to New Mexico to visit Alberquerque. 

During the press briefing, Psaki announced the prominent personalities will “will discuss the benefits of the ARP for working families and will engage with people at each of these stops about how the American people can benefit from the component of the package”, reported CNN.

In addition to this, they are also expected to address issues that can have a deep impact on the everyday life of Americans, like child tax credit, extension of earned income tax credit, homeowner assistance, rental, unemployment insurance and other insurance subsidies. 

The officials who will be deployed on the “Help is Here Tour” will focus on one key element of the COVID-19 relief bill every day of the 10-day-long tour and are likely to interact with the public and address their struggles.
