Donald Trump has surrendered at the Fulton County jail in Atlanta to be booked on more than a dozen charges stemming from his efforts to reverse Georgia’s 2020 election results.

Trump is being placed under arrest in Fulton County.

Trump consented earlier this week to a $200,000 bond and other conditions for his release, including refraining from using social media to disparage the other defendants and case witnesses.

District Attorney Fani Willis, who prosecuted Trump and 18 other people in the election subversion case, was the target of angry protesters at the jail.

“Lock Fani up!” the former president’s supporters chanted.

With his surrender in Georgia, the former president has now turned himself in to local or federal authorities four times this year after being charged with a crime—incidents that had never occurred in the US before 2023.

The ex-president was arrested in New York in April on state charges connected to a hush money conspiracy. He turned himself in in June to special counsel Jack Smith’s investigation into the improper handling of secret papers at a federal courthouse in Miami.

Trump was also arrested earlier this month in Washington, DC, and charged by Smith as part of his inquiry into attempts to rig the 2020 election.

Next year at the trial, all of those matters might be resolved.

All of those cases could come to a head next year at the same time that Trump is running for president.

According to the records of the Fulton County jail, former President Donald Trump has been arrested and lodged there.

Trump is listed as being 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 215 pounds. He is described as having blonde or strawberry hair and blue eyes.

All 19 defendants in the Georgia election subversion case, according to Fulton County Sheriff Pat Labat, would through the same procedures as other criminal defendants in the county, including having their fingerprints and mug photographs taken.

However, Trump’s team members earlier today told CNN that they were still unsure whether the former president would have a mug shot taken.

Because the former president and his attorneys arranged his consent bail arrangement before Thursday, Trump’s processing through the jail will probably be finished swiftly, similar to those of his 18 co-defendants who have already turned themselves in at the institution.

Trump complied with the order’s terms, which included posting a $200,000 bond and not using social media to threaten his co-defendants or the case’s witnesses.

A mug shot was taken of Donald Trump, according to Fulton County Sheriff Patrick Labat.

Former President Donald Trump has completed the booking process, according to jail records that indicate he has been released on bond.
