Fox News host Jesse Watters was trolled after he denied seeing any ‘deadly blows’ in the Tyre Nichols beating video that was released by the Memphis Police Department on Friday. The 29-year-old Black man was beaten, tased and pepper-sprayed by five police officers on January 7, 2023. He was hospitalized in critical condition and died three days later.
Watters, who is a conservative political commentator, said he ‘didn’t see any death Blows in Tyre Nichols’ footage. The 44-year-old added that he’ll have to wait for the toxicology report.

“We don’t know if this guy was on something,” Watters said, a possible reference to drugs.
“And we don’t have an autopsy from the city, an official autopsy. Immediately, you know, I didn’t see any death blows. Maybe it was an accumulation of blunt force trauma to the head,” the Fox host added.
“Did you see anything that told you that was it?” he asked his guest, retired NYPD officer Bill Stanton.
Watters was trolled on social media for his comments.
“Jesse Watters is just the kind of bootlicker that if a cop stood there, took their gun out and shot someone right in the head for absolutely no reason at all, he’ll ask why did the victim make the cop upset,” a Twitter user said.

“let us drag jesse watters out of his home in the middle of the night and subject him to the same blows and see if he can say the same after,” a second one added.
“@JesseBWatters Tyre Nichols was killed by systemic racism. Tyre Nichols was killed by the hate of his oppressors and the internalized hate of the oppressed. Firefighters and EMTs stood by and watched Tyre Nichols dying…State sanctioned terror. May you one day experience this,” a third one tweeted.
