A woman, identified as Shakeba Morrad, is receiving a lot of negative feedback after posting a video on Instagram mocking Israelis who are appealing for the release of their kidnapped loved ones. 

The video, which has since been removed, attracted a lot of attention on social media, where many people criticized Morrad for her conduct.

Shakeba Morrad, an appellate lawyer at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Office of General Counsel, is said to have been under fire after a video of her making fun of Israelis who were pleading with Hamas to release their kidnapped civilians went viral on social media. Many people and online users denounced her behavior.

In response to the video that surfaced, many users on X expressed their strong disapproval and called out Shakeba Morrad for making fun of people.

One X user wrote, “As a veteran that uses the @DeptVetAffairs I find this video vile and she at minimum should be suspended.  Veterans deserve better!”

“Glad you flagged this. She apparently doesn’t know how to manage her social media and has created an embarrassing situation for the Dept of Veterans Affairs. They should dismiss her.” another user wrote.

One user tweeted, “Does she still have a job? If she does,  we all need to get together and make sure our vets have better quality people handling their issues.”

Another X user wrote, “@DeptVetAffairs why do you tolerate someone like this? Americans were killed on Oct.7 and there are Americans who are still hostages while she is making fun of efforts to get them back safely. She doesn’t represent a private firm. She represents the U.S.Government. Do something !”

There has been a noticeable rise in anti-Semitic incidents and acts of hate towards Jews in the US and around the world as a result of the October 7 massacre and the ongoing conflict between Hamas and Israel.
