Texas mall shooter Mauricio Garcia, who was living at a Budget Inn in Texas, was a security guard who was discharged from the Army in 2008 due to mental health issues, as per ABC30.

Mauricio Garcia motivation: What RWDS patch says about Allen Outlet Mall, Dallas shooting suspect?

Garcia, 33, attacked customers outside the H&M store at Allen Premium Outlets on Saturday afternoon, killing eight people and injuring five more.

Garcia was killed by a police officer who heard the gunshot while he was at the scene attending to another incident.

Investigators have discovered social media accounts connected to the shooter that reveal numerous postings, including documents with ethnically or racially motivated violent extremist rhetoric, neo-Nazi material, and material endorsing the power of the white race. These postings are in conjunction with the insignia on the shooter’s machinery that suggested a right-wing extremist ideology, as per ABC30.

None of the subject’s postings examined thus far have received any public comments, likes, or shares. There were no publicly identifiable friends or associates on the shooter’s account.

Additionally, detectives found that the shooter used a semi-automatic gun and had no prior criminal record. The shooter had many weapons, a bulletproof vest, and lots of magazines.

When he opened fire outside the H&M store at Allen Premium Outlets on Saturday afternoon, he was residing at a Budget Inn in Texas and murdered eight people while injuring five more.

It follows Gov. Greg Abbot’s warning not to “jump to conclusions” that the shooter was a member of the white supremacist movement, despite multiple sources indicating otherwise.

Garcia was killed by a police officer who heard the gunshot while he was at the scene attending to another incident. Although his motivation is yet unknown, law enforcement officials claim that his now-deleted social media profiles demonstrate his neo-Nazi sympathies.

According to CNN, Garcia has significant firearms training and served as a security guard for three separate businesses. Until his license expired in 2020, he was permitted to serve as a security guard in the Lone Star State, according to documents reviewed by CNN.

Although it’s unclear whether Garcia held a job at the mall or another establishment, neighbors say they think he was employed as a security guard.

In the evening, three of the injured remained in serious condition, while four others were stable, according to a Saturday night report from Boyd.
