Dallas residents were handed a shock on Saturday morning, October 22, when a shooting inside the Methodist Dallas Medical Center resulted in two victims. As per local media reports, both victims are nurses who work at the hospital, one of whom is in critical shape whereas the other is undergoing treatment.

The incident at the Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, took place at around 11:15 am on Saturday morning. As per the authorities, they detained a suspect in connection with the shooting after reaching the scene following a shooting report.

The hospital had scheduled a tour of their new Linda and Mitch Hart Breast Cancer Center for breast cancer survivors on Saturday, which has since been cancelled as a result of the shooting incident, a statement issued by the Methodist Dallas Medical Center revealed.

The police have not released the identities of the victims or the suspected shooter till now. They are also yet to reveal information regarding the motive behind the shooting.
