Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced his nomination for the 2024 US Presidential elections on Wednesday. The 44-year-old revealed his decision in the Federal Election Commission filing prior to his online conversation with Elon Musk in Twitter space, which eventually suffered a major glitch and failed miserably.

While interacting with Elon Musk in Twitter Spaces, which went horribly wrong due to glitches. DeSantis said, “American decline is not inevitable, it is a choice. And we should choose a new direction — a path that will lead to American revitalization,”. He also added, “I am running for president of the United States to lead our great American comeback.”

Initially, DeSantis announced the news in a video posted on social media. The arrival of DeSantis in the 2024 US Presidential election, which was an expected move, changes the dynamics of the overall look out of the elections.

As the expected nominations come, many elected officials from Republicans are backing Ron DeSantis for the forthcoming elections, as he can be the leader for them and represent them in the manner, which has been due for them.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has a lot of fan-following at the high table, which becomes important in election times. Several Rep. leaders have come forward and voiced their opinions in favor of DeSantis.

Rep. Senator Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming declared DeSantis to be the leader of the GOP post-midterm elections in 2022.

Virginia’s congressman, Bob Good also backed DeSantis earlier in May and said, “strength in the face of adversity is needed more today than ever before.” However, he denied supporting McCarthy.

Thomas Massie, Kentucky’s congressman also provided resistance to DeSantis saying “honored to call Ron DeSantis a friend for over a decade” in April.

Many prominent leaders have backed DeSantis for the candidacy as he still has a long way to go with nominations still coming the way. Though, it is not wrong to say that DeSantis has gained huge popularity among the people and leaders, which are essential in elections.
