Lori Vallow is the 49-year-old mother of 3 who is currently facing charges of first-degree murder for the death of her two children Joshua “JJ” Vallow and Tylee Ryan.

When Lori married her fourth husband, Charles Vallow, they adopted Charles’ grandnephew, JJ Vallow. Joshua Jaxon “JJ” Vallow was the grandson of Larry and Kay Woodcock.

JJ Vallow went missing right after his half-sister Tylee in September 2019. There were no records of the boy until Larry and Kay Woodcock requested the police to carry out a welfare check for JJ.

When the police approached Lori Vallow, she could not produce her son. After failing to produce JJ and Tylee before the state, Lori Vallow and her then-husband, Chad Daybell, were arrested.

Larry and Kay Woodcock cared for JJ Vallow for the first ten months of his life, after which Charles Vallow adopted him. The Woodcocks also claim that Lori became distant from her children in 2019. This was when she grew increasingly closer to Chad Daybell, even appearing in podcasts with him.

The Woodcocks lost complete contact with Joshua Vallow after the death of Charles Vallow. Due to the Woodcocks, a missing person case was filed against JJ Vallow. They even offered $20,000 for valuable tips to help find their grandson.

JJ Vallow was found buried in the backyard of Chad Daybell, along with the remains of Tylee Ryan. They were found after the police investigated the house after Lori and Chad were arrested.

With Judge Boyce ordering that no witnesses can stay for the testimonies unless they are victims and Lori Vallow trying to remove the Woodcocks during her court proceeding, which is to start from 3rd April, the couple is facing a tough battle.

The Woodcocks, with the help of their lawyers, have claimed that they deserve to be declared the victims in the murder of their grandson. Further, they have also said that Kay Woodcock is the only one who can represent JJ Vallow in court.
