A man is accused of first-degree murder for a shooting in Lancaster County. At 11:20 p.m. on Monday, according to the Pennsylvania State Police, troopers were called to a home on Main Street close to Pennsy Road in New Providence.

The suspect has been identified as Bryan Hollister.

The inquiry showed that Aidan Kimmel and Bryan Hollister got into a fight inside the house. According to the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP), Hollister shot Kimmet many times with his handgun during the altercation.

Court records state that Kimmet had gone to the house to confront Hollister, and that’s when Hollister shot and killed him. Even after being taken to Lancaster General Hospital, Kimmet passed away from his wounds.

Who is Bryan Hollister? 

Bryan Hollister was arrested by police officials for his involvement in the shooting that claimed the life of Aidan Kimmet. Hollister is facing the following charges – first-degree murder, assault, possession of instruments of crime, and recklessly endangering another person, Following his arraignment, Hollister had his bail revoked.

According to court documents, Kimmet had gone to the house to confront Hollister, and that’s when Hollister shot and killed him. Despite being transported to Lancaster General Hospital, Kimmet succumbed to his injuries.”

The investigation revealed that Aidan Kimmel and Bryan Hollister engaged in a physical altercation inside the residence. According to the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP), Hollister shot Kimmet multiple times with his handgun during the altercation.

Around the scene, neighbors expressed disbelief at the sudden and unusual event in what was generally a tranquil neighborhood.

“It’s not like this usually happens here, so I’m not sure what to make of it. I’m deeply upset by this; I’ve lived here my entire life, and everything has just been quiet,” said Kameryn Trimble.

Peyton Adams-Holdway continued, “It’s heartbreaking, it’s sad for anybody, and it’s hard to hear about it.”
