David Negrete, a 19-year-old suspect, is the focus of a ferocious manhunt in Texas concerning the mass shooting that occurred at Cole’s Flea Market in Pearland.

Four other people were injured in the event, and a 10-year-old boy died as a result. Negrete is being charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection with the fatal incident, and an arrest warrant has been issued for him. In an attempt to capture the suspect, law enforcement is still working.

Who is David Negrete?

David Negrete is 19 years old. He is a prime suspect in the Flea market shooting in Texas, which claimed the life of a 10-year-old boy and injured four others.

He is accused of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in Sunday’s mass shooting at Cole’s Flea Market in Pearland.

Negrete should be seen as armed and dangerous, according to Pearland Police Department Officer Chad Rogers. Cruz Mesa and Juliana Espiono, both 18 years old, were also taken into custody for the incident. They face accusations of falsifying a statement to a peace officer and tampering with tangible evidence. According to police confirmation, Mesa, one of the people who was apprehended, was among those who were shot at the flea market.

Just after 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, officers were called to Cole’s Flea Market on Main Street in response to reports of gunfire. When they arrived, they found five victims: Cruz Mesa, 37, a boy, 10, a girl, 14, and a boy, 16 years old.

As of Tuesday, the 10-year-old victim’s name was still unknown; he passed away in the hospital from his wounds. While the 16-year-old underwent surgery, the teen girl’s and Mesa’s conditions were reported to be stable. Once the adult guy received treatment, he was allowed to go.
