The leader of the MS-13 gang, Edenilson Velasquez Larin along with dozens of other members of the gang has been indicted and charged by the FBI on Wednesday.

Although New York was the center of the violence, people thought to be connected to the crimes were arrested this week in places including New Jersey, North Carolina, and Virginia. Larin is currently being held in an immigration jail in Ohio.

Who is Edenilson Velasquez Larin?

Edenilshon Velasquez Larin also known as Agresor is 33 years old. Larin hails from Thornton, Colorado. Reportedly, he is the nationwide leader of the notorious MS-13 gang.

The MS-13 gang, which is notorious for its violence, has come to light for its involvement in high-profile crimes in multiple U.S. states, including Florida, Texas, New York, and many others.

The gang is charged with the murder of a 17-year-old teenager, a particularly heinous act of violence. The victim was subjected to stabbing and strangulation, and the perpetrators later posed for pictures with the victim, adding to the heinousness of the act.

After confessing to the killings of three people, including an 18-year-old who was lured to a New York baseball field under the premise of using marijuana, an MS-13 gang member is now facing the possibility of a life sentence. Tragically, the victim endured a ruthless beating with a bat before being stabbed.

As per media reports, In Nassau County, New York, during the summer of 2021, the MS-13 gang and the Latin Kings gang engaged in a territorial conflict. Christian Alas Leon is among those accused of arranging an attack on a member of the rival gang using machetes as weapons as a result of this disagreement.

Police authorities stated the 18th Street Gang from Los Angeles and the MS-13 gang fought over territory in Long Island between 2019 and 2020. Multiple shooting incidents occurred as both sides fought for control of particular areas throughout the continuing battle.
